The majority of all measuring and surveying duties are carried out using modern Trimble GPS/GNSS units and Trimble robotic total stations. To compliment these, we additionally use Leica conventional total stations where the application dictates. Data is normally processed through McCarthy Taylor’s Land Survey Software (LSS) before being exported to various other surveying and drafting programs for output to the client’s requirements.
Similarly, when setting out a project, our equipment allows us to do this directly from a digital model, thus reducing the chance of any human calculation errors. This feature in itself, additionally allowing an almost immediate start on site almost following receipt of the design model, with no calculation time necessary.
